We went for afternoon tea - which turned in Cake and beer and the cakes were fantastic. As a result we went back for an evening meal. The Waiter seemed to be on mission not to smile but he was efficient . the foot was excellent and reasonably priced - although I suspect it was at the higher end for Krakow comparing it against other places we went too.
It was very easy to get a table at the restaurant on the same day (saturday) for dinner.
The service (Patrizia) was very responsive and extraordinarily friendly. Everything we ordered (all polish specialities) have been prepared very well and in "no Time".
We can recommend this restaurant without any restrictions.
The location is perfect and very center of the old town. While you are eating your meal you can watch old town ' s historical view. The prices are a little bit expensive but it worths. For example one porsion steak one porsion Duck and a bottle öf red wine are approximately 260 zlt which includes %10 tip.
My hotel made a reservation and they were ready for me when I arrived. I had a table that overlooked part of the main floor and the front door so there was always something to watch. The food and wine were delicious and the waiter was very accommodating. After a full and wonderful meal, the waiter brought me a bag of homemade cookies to take away. Was a "sweet" surprise.
The service is very good, but there is more to it. The food its excellent, they serve very traditional Poland food, and its very well prepared. Also the place is very nice, very warm and you feel like in a restaurant in the middle of the woods. Like a fairy tale!!
This restaurant is on the corner of the main square. It is very competitively priced for the excellent food, and the service was excellent. We shared a steak tartare for starters, then had zander with crayfish sauce (yum yum!!) and ribs for mains, then my husband had a sorbet for dessert. And lovely wine. We whiled away a couple of hours here and didn't feel like we were being rushed away even though it was getting busy. Go.
